Project Description

Visitors Information Centre (VIC), Dubbo City Council

Dubbo suffered a flood which effected the VIC and once subsided we were engaged to assist with bringing the VIC to life again. We worked closely with their graphic designer to ensure that they had a good understanding of what we could produce for them and how creative they could be. We combined digital print with ACM panels, CNC machining ACM letters for the walls and the good old tradition signwriting, yes with a brush. On the outside we installed interchangeable, lockable, poster cabinets for the up to date promotion to be displayed. To compliment the bronzed rhino that was part of the front garden, we manufactured and installed a 2.4mts x 60mm deep ACM encased architectural sign with different depths of panels and different finishes to give the sign another dimension. The whole project had to be completed to a deadline ready for the reopening of the VIC to the public.
